The Hope Center for Autism is proud to be preparing for our 4th Annual Golf for Hope Tournament. This event allows us to sustain the services we provide to our community. We are 501c3 not for profit organization dedicated to helping children with autism and their families. The demand for our school and programs continues to grow each year.
It may surprise you to learn that
- 1 in every 150 children born today will be diagnosed with autism;
- every 20 minutes a parent is given the devastating news that their child has autism;
- Autism is now the most prevalent serious developmental disability in the country.
Our main program is a school for children with Autism in Martin County. We provide this at no cost to the families. Schools with similar services in the state of Florida charge their families up to $50,000.
The state Department of Education provides us with a limited amount of funds for each student. However, in order to help these children reach their full potential, we provide a 1 on 1 learning environment. This method is successful, however it is costly.
In order to keep meeting the needs of our families and the many families on the waiting list to attend The Hope Center, we would like you to support The Hope Center in 2009.
Together, we can make sure that the doors are opened for children with autism. We thank you for your kindness.
Sincerely,
Stacie Routt
Director
The Hope Center for Autism also provides Family Support and Training and Community Education.
