The teachers and staff at Hope are highly trained in the identification and implementation of evidence-based practices proven effective for students with an autism spectrum disorder.  Several staff members also specialize in areas such as biofeedback, mental health counseling and core vocabulary implementation. We participate in weekly professional learning communities to review student data, determine if interventions are effective and plan for next steps.  All teachers are certified in exceptional student education, elementary education, and other certification areas as required by state statute.  We are a model of effective practices and share our knowledge with others in our area to build knowledge within our community regarding the needs and effective practices for individuals with autism.
