🏕🔥 Survivor Camp: Camping Week

Peer Mentors Needed – Let’s Roast Marshmallows & Model Social Skills!

Get ready to pitch a tent, build (pretend) campfires, and help our students survive social situations in the great outdoors—right here at Survivor Camp: Vacation Edition!

During Camping Week, you’ll guide students with autism through nature-themed games and activities that teach:

  • Sharing and turn-taking around the "campfire"

  • Teamwork and problem-solving during scavenger hunts

  • Using communication devices to tell stories, make s’mores, and plan adventures

  • Being flexible and trying new things in a safe, supportive setting

As a Peer Mentor, you’ll:

  • Be a role model for positive social interaction

  • Help campers engage, explore, and have fun

  • Earn volunteer hours while making real connections

  • Enjoy pizza Thursdays and lots of laughs!

🌲 No bug spray needed—just bring your kindness, energy, and leadership.
